Queries about human nature such as motivation, memory, learning, perception, dreams, mental illnesses have gained different angles depending on the evolution of the human mind and societies. Psychology, which has a long background and a short history has evolved over time as the science of behavior and mental processes and has gained the deserved popularity and respectability with its science and research based contributions in solving the increasingly complex problems of our age.

Istanbul Kültür University Psychology Department, which has been providing education since 2007, prepares its students for the business life of psychology with the diversity of courses in the fields of Social, Development, Experimental, Educational, Clinical, Sports, Industrial and Organizational Behavior, Forensic Psychology with the curriculum prepared in accordance with world standards. It makes it easier for students to graduate in various fields of specialization.

The mission of the Department of Psychology, which aims to achieve universal values, is a free, enlightened, highly competitive, recognized and respected department, is to provide students with the personal development and learning climate they need, with student-oriented interactive learning methods, empathic attitudes and behaviors of the instructors, to ensure that the university education process is a positive experience, and to train human resources equipped with the knowledge and skills of psychology in business life.
